I’m still disappointed they botched the Wheel of Time. Like, right from the very beginning, that started making really questionable choices. I wish they’d do it animated because one, that’d make the magic way cheaper, and two, it’d make it feasible to grapple with the sheer size of the series.
Yeah… Combine all that with being based in the US under the fascistic Trump admin, and I’m considering trying to get my friends and family to swap to a self-hosted XMPP server or something, but there are a couple elderly relatives that might complicate that.

Just get an emulation handheld. With Steam offering ARM support through a translation layer, a strong one can even run a surprising array of PC games these days. My Retroid Pocket Flip 2 isn’t even that nice as far as these things go, and it plays just about any 2D game I’ve tried and a lot of 3D from the '00s and early '10s, later if they don’t press limits. You can also attach them to TVs and use normal controllers, including multiplayer.
Oh, they’re competent. It’s just that they’re competent at protecting monied interests, not the people.
Nobody who actually made the game is gonna see a dime of the money from your sale. Hell, they’re getting laid off whether the game succeeds or not. Why the fuck do I give the slightest shit about contributing to some Ubisoft exec’s yacht?
I kinda get it, but this one should have been animated from the start. The length and magic make live action really difficult to pull off, and I’m not surprised Amazon didn’t manage it.
