Yes, many times they are under people’s control. It’s still accidental. Things like driving annoyed, at speed, on grass, next to a bunch of bikers, are things that are under a driver’s control to avoid doing to prevent causing an accident.
99.99% of drivers can’t be trusted to drive on grass at speed. I don’t care how much attention they’re paying. It’s very easy to lose traction and control on a surface like grass. Frequently drivers lose control on pavement! You can be doing everything well and still end up sliding out. Unless this is a rally driver or something then no, this is not good.
Again, accidents are not on purpose. They just happen. We should be doing everything we can to keep drivers in conditions where accidents are less likely. Driving at speed on grass next to a large group of bikers that don’t have the protection of a vehicle is not that. If you can’t understand that then you’re a lost cause and you probably shouldn’t be allowed behind the wheel of a vehicle.

Look, the guy sucks, but Mamdani is representing NYC and its people. He shouldn’t be spurring the president just out of spite when he can instead use him to get something out of him. When the alternative is fighting against him withholding funding for NYC, this is the much better option for NYC.
Yeah, accidents famously never happen! Why do we even waste money on guardrails and safety infrastructure? It’s never been needed because every driver always has perfect control of their vehicle.
If I’m understanding it correctly, and I’m pretty sure I am, it requires a witness, like I said. That witness has to be trusted to not reveal any information. The receiver doesn’t get any information theoretically, but it requires that someone check your ID. That’s pretty obvious though because how else could it work?

Even if it’s secure (no software is ever 100% secure), it can’t be anonymous. How could they verify your ID? Maybe they theoretically don’t store the record, and the checks after the first don’t provide it, it can’t be anonymous or it’s worthless for ID verification.
Does it really give you generated vibes though? Other than the em-dash (edit: not even an em-dash, which is “—”, but a double hyphen to approximate an em-dash, and generated content usually uses the actual character), it’s very contrary to generated content. Usually generated content is needlessly long and verbose, which that one isn’t.
