That’s odd, I’m always able to know exactly what the temperature is in a room when I walk in. Including the humidity percentage in 5 point increments.

I don’t ever see people bring up the fact that Fahrenheit contains more whole numbers.

20c -> 68f

21c -> 69.8f

22c -> 71.6f

23c -> 73.4f

A lot of people notice the different between 68, 69, 70, 71, and 72 Fahrenheit. But Celsius has massive gaps in the measurements of these temperatures. Which is ironically very important to the average American, due to the use of thermostats and air-conditioning.

Of course a computerized system will use the decimals to get the correct temperature.

But conversationally, you’d have to include the decimals, which is too complicated for casual chit chat.
