As a woman, she could just take her money and leave, and arguably should, for her safety. Every moment she stays to aide her country-men is a favor, full-stop.

Call me when the Ukrainians start tricking foreigners into front-line slave/cannon-fodder roles like Russia does. I’ll wait.

EDIT: Bolding. I’m shaking in my boots over all the Putin fans and easilly-distracted rubes this comment’s offended.

Were they TRICKED? The UN is the one with a problem with mercenaries.

I’m over here saying the stupidest thing South Africa ever did was caving to International pressure, making most of the world’s professional mercenaries stateless overnight, like no-one could see Blackrock/Palantir coming, or like somehow Apartheid couldn’t end without giving the US even more plausible deniability to work with.

The experts keep saying that there’ll soon be another Vietnam moment w Ukraine where people realize that the billionaires made the news lie to them but responses like this convince me that the people are going to carry this propaganda to the grave no matter how divorced it is from reality.

Propaganda? As long as there’s battlefields to go get killed-on, idiots like myself will jump at the chance.

There’s getting decieved into dying for the side that’s trying to win by attrition, versus getting upset because the side some not-so-professionals choose still needs cooks, and they’re too stupid to turn their smart-phones off in a combat zone.

Idiots getting themselves and some Ukrainian-soldiers killed does not make Ukraine accepting foreign soldiers who too-often turn out to just plain suck equivalent to Russia bait-and-switching “civilian jobs in Moscow” for front-line roles.

i’ll be surprised if the cia ever publishes these documents even though it’s legally required by the freedom of information act.

      You dropped this smuglord

As the other reply said this is already happening since the beginning.

You sound like a smug ass redditor, did you just memory hole the reddit brigades that got vaporized in missile strikes because they could not stop revealing their location by making social media posts larping as badasses from their barracks?

Oh as opposed to kidnapping people off the street and forcing them at gunpoint to join their losing battle like the Nazi Ukraine government?

The only reason it is a war of attrition is due to the immense the Russian Federation has exercised. They could have easily just used the same genocidal doctrine of the US in Iraq for example but their goal, contrary to the liberal narrative, is not to annihilate the Ukrainian people but to liberate the people that were already fighting a civil war and subject to nazi pogroms for 12 years now.

Imagine pretending even a country being invaded should never institute a draft, you know, ten years after encouraging women, the young and infirm to leave your country for their safety in the face of the invading force.

Imagine invading your neighbors and getting so many of your own killed that you must trick and kidnap foreigners, plus your own disabled, young and elderly, to keep your attrition-machine going.

ukraine keeps tricking foreigners into the frontlines by telling them it’s just a cushy drone flying job.

i recently watched an interview with a brazilian who was roped into it. among other things talks about this and the apparent abundance of racists and nazis in their ranks.

Getting told you’ll be flying drones is far different from being told you’ll be doing a civilian job in Moscow. The US Marines were turning would-be drone pilots into Riflemen over 25 years ago, and no-one batted an eye.

Knowingly signing-up to kill people has never been a safe affair, nor should it be.

you can see it by how many wars a given empire has been fighting at once so far.

Ukraine is an empire? US hegemony excuses invading your neighbors?

There are presently two “empires” bleeding themselves dry in wars of choice versus smaller, heavilly-industrialized countries, either with many allies, natural-fortifications, or the ability to choke-off resources the world depends on. Countries which no sane power would violate like-so.

Neither Empire doing any invading is Ukraine.
