Julie Su, the former acting US Labor Secretary who now serves as New York City’s deputy mayor for economic justice, will oversee the new office, which will be led by longtime union organizer Tony Perlstein.

Isn’t it interesting there’s not a peep mentioning that Biden was promoting unions across the country, now this is only happening in one city in the country? I’m sure Julie Su is doing good work as “Deputy Mayor of New York City for Economic Justice” but I think she was making a bigger difference when she was… what was her previous job again? Oh right, United States Secretary of Labor.
It’s cool to have a municipal government doing this, but wasn’t it nicer to have the Federal government doing this?
