Europe seems to be safe from them so far.
They are not allowed because of their sharp corners, no crumple zones. They’re dangerous for occupants as well as any other road users in case of an accident
Honestly I don’t understand how they’re allowed to be sold in the US either, given how rigid the safety standards are.
