No such thing as E-waste! any phone, laptop, desktop or tablet that powers on can be re-purposed for something cool or salvaged for parts. I once made a usable laptop out of 3 dead ones and it gave me another year to save up for a replacement rather than having to emergency buy something cheap and shitty.
