Doesn’t have to be thousands of dollars. Just a thing you spent money on that turned out to be a complete waste.

It was not that good and couldn’t properly even handle win10. Wasn’t the greatest under ubuntu, but was better. Still, not my best choice. Edit: 2019, not 2020 when I got it!
