No that means fan and whatever you have, for dehydrating there are lots of ways of doing it. But if you just want to preserve things you can use a simple tight seal bag with oxygen absorbing packs and argon, those are very cheap.
honestly I just love the texture of freeze dried food. As a picky eater (lame I know) a lot of stuff I hate normally is totally fine freeze dried, I used to buy a ton of fruits from a place nearby until they started selling through marketplaces and the prices went 5x.
I tried doing it in a fan oven but its not the same, tho I concede it might be a skill issue
