Joan on Instagram: "We deserve safety and dignity outside of cars. Pedestrians deserve dignity. A few months ago I had the honor to partner with @pedestriandignity to submit a few solarpunk images for the zine! I hiiiiighly recommend checking it out. I've learned a lot from this account and how much our current infrastructure needs to decenter cars and prioritize pedestrian mobility. How cars and the car-centric system need to be held accountable for the deaths of our people. How other places are changing for the better, and there are blueprints for changing our world too. #PedestrianDignity #MobilityJustice #Walkability #Accessibility #PublicHealth"
