It beeps when you place it on the base.
But today, it beeps no more.
I classify this as a repair.
I did the same with my fan. Fucker beeped when the sleep timer ended
That’s an insane design choice.
There’s a fan here that has a bright blue LED capable of lighting a whole room. That LED shines when the silent mode for the night is activated 🙄
At first I loved the blue LEDs when they showed up in the early 2000 but I’ve grown to hate them. Why can’t a soft green or red be used.
And why do they have to shine with the power of industrial lasers??
Halfass Life Pro Tip: If it’s one of the larger standardized discreet LEDs, you can sandpaper over the plastic to diffuse the light, helping spread the light more evenly around and not so much shining in one direction like a laser.
I tried that. It helps but not enough. Not even fucking electrical tape holds that fucking plasma beam at bay.
