Here's the latest AI slop creator ripping off my content.
This time they ran my script through an AI "podcast" generator (likely the free one by Adobe) and put it under the footage from my latest video.
When I make my videos, I spend hours travelling and filming on-location to get real footage that can't be found anywhere else.
Then these AI slop creators steal it and release it as their own.
About 90% of my exposure to "AI" these days is just slop farms ripping me off.
Is that what is going on? I’ve been blocking channels for using those clearly AI generated thumbnails. I didn’t realize Youtube was the one pushing it. 🤦
Yeah its on YT’s end. This isn’t the video I originally heard about it, but here’s one of a Youtuber, Regular Eyepatch Wolf, talking about when he first saw the new option on the YT Upload page: Youtubes TERRIBLE New AI Thumbnails
tl;dw is he tries it out and it generates a few thumbnails based on his video idea and is real uncomfortable with it generating pictures of his face and the descriptions it comes up with to try to sell him on the pictures he came up with.
