If you think that’s why people aren’t having kids you need to actually go talk to young adults more.
Oh, I do. The main difference is this: they simply don’t want it as much as they want other things. And it is, of course, due to ideological and cultural reasons, mostly (sometimes it’s trauma too, which is understandable).
I literally can’t afford my life week to week as a middle aged single person. I should t be retiring in 25 years. 😂
I can’t even afford hobbies that aren’t free and don’t require gas.
If the immigrants who sometimes don’t even speak the language and work the worst paid jobs have 2-3 kids on the average, I’m sure you can as well if it’s truly a priority.
