Even though this is obviously anthropic marketing bait, I thought it was still funny
AI development has a few factions. People that want to make and fuck their AI daughter/girlfriend. Researchers that want to underatand the basis of the human mind. Capitalists that want to convert human intelligence into capital they can fully own (slavery is the first attempt). Then finally cultists that want to make God in their image.
It’s a crazy field for someone that is fascinated by thinking about thinking and want to make useful little tools.
Excuse me some of us are just fine wanting to fuck the genderless machine just as it is.
Oh the listen i aint yucking anyones yum on the autoblow or sibian fuck machines. Its specifically the camp that is like “we can create couciouness”, “i will teach it and nuture it into the world”, and finally “it will actually want to suck and fuck me, its creator and primary guardian”. That group creeps me out
