I’m looking for open source public transport planning tools so that I can make changes and suggest improvements to public transport routes in my area. I want to suggest changes to schedules that would make transfers easier between public transport routes.
I’ve had success in the past recommending changes to train schedules. However, it was a lot of manual work in Excel, and I’d rather have a tool that would help me align schedules better.
Can you suggest any open source tools for helping me align public transport schedules?

fwiw there’s https://store.steampowered.com/app/1134710/NIMBY_Rails/ which gets reasonably close to realistic if you set up things like speed limits to reflect reality, if nothing else maybe it would make the process more entertaining?
You’re looking for “train timetable software”. A simple search gave me this as the first option. No clue if it’s good, but it looks like it’s on GitHub so it might be FOSS. https://www.jmri.org/help/en/html/tools/TimeTable.shtml
