    Yes please, I’m sick of AI invading the open source space. I’m currently using KDE, but if GNOME does this, I’ll switch to them

    Be careful about trolling on this topic. Polarization about this is toxic for communities - and what is right or true is completely orthogonal to the reasons why, and the methods with which FOSS communities are trolled.

    For example, just yesterday somebody added a snarky remark on Systemd to a debate on difficulties which main developers of PostgreSQL have with code developed with LLM tools. But systemd is not only a issue which has attracted criticism and some conflict - it is also completely unrelated to PostgreSQl. This is irrelevant and stifling kindling unrelated conflict - and a clear sign of trolling. (and whether I am a a fan of systemd or not is also unrelated).

    I think the same is the issue with the op article.

    Not everything which is said or written in such discussions will be in good faith.
