Good for you, but in some cases unfortunately the regular treatments don’t work. In those cases a circumcision is a perfectly valid medical last resort intervention.

I was quite happy to get rid of it actually, recurring inflammation and infection due to severe physiological phimosis isn’t fun. I vaguely remember having to try cream and trying to pull the foreskin back regularly in order to stretch it, but that didn’t do anything. In the end the conclusion was that the situation would not resolve by itself, so it had to go. Doesn’t bother me and never had strange looks because of it, despite circumcisions not being the norm here.

Circumcisions without a medical reason should be considered child abuse though, fuck that crazy shit.
