This is being said in a world where parents just give their kids tablets so they can keep quiet/busy. IMO the real danger is kids having “smart” tech at a young age. I almost think it’s borderline child abuse to get them hooked on tech that early on.

That makes sense but this seems like the best we’ll ever get. There’s always gonna be a try hard group trying to amass as much of something of value as possible, nothing is perfect. But I’m also morbidly curious to see what crypto’s role will be in the AI bubble pop and if it’ll be a positive or negative thing. I guess we gotta stay tuned for that episode.

Honestly ever since the US has gone psycho it’s shaken the legitimacy of fiat for me (just a little). Bitcoin has it’s own contradictory state of being a currency but also an asset, but at least it’s not tied to any one country.

I mean you took a reasonable suggestion as toxicity, ok 🤷. Your suggestion to switch to Windows instead is also valid. To use Linux means you’re willing to put up with relatively new issues. One issue being the choice of your “final” distro. But if that’s too much then yeah, there’s no shame with switching back to Windows.

So switch distros? Not everything will be perfect which means you have to figure what’s best for your situation.
