A human on earth. Ask me about weird tech. Bonus points if it radiates.

  • Yeah.

I now hold a trade degree, a bachelor in engineering and a master in CS, my mom had an economy degree, worked as vice department head for one of the largest companies back then before she took a maternity break, and did an open university remote bachelor in natural sciences afterwards because she was bored in her public service job.

Not bragging, well, maybe bragging a bit, but I’m trying to say that doing homework is not a great measure for success in schools and life.

  • Of course. My 80-something grandpa said (practically) on his death bed, that one of the biggest regrets was not seeking out a partner again after his wife had died.

It you can still long for a romantic relationship when you’re 80 and just got a cancer diagnosis, then idk what could stop you. Most people are simply wired by nature to enjoy romantic relationships.

  • Wearing rubber slippers, measured against (presumably) good ground. Granted, my voltmeter is absolute trash, but I can do it with a decent benchtop one at work and I’m confident the value will be similar.

I’d be much more concerned about EMI / “electro-smog”, all the electromagnetic fields and radio emissions around us. Those are very much measurable, they don’t really care about any arbitrary concept like “ground potential” whatever that might be, and your body works like a (bad) antenna, if you want it or not.

I am still not particularly concerned about them, fuck, I work in microwave tech and am a ham radio guy, if it has any negative effects, I’m certain I’ll notice them first. I also occasionally drink, sometimes eat meat, exist in a car-rich environment, am full of microplastic and exercise way too litte, so it is still very far down the list of my health concerns.
