To be fair, they didn’t say censorship was bad and should never be done. They said it should be dangerous and avoided. You’ve given examples where it may be needed. That doesn’t mean we should embrace censorship. It means we should recognize the sobering weight of needing to establish that an idea shouldn’t be permitted to exist.
