I have no problem forgiving people if that’s what you’re getting at. There’s a difference between forgiveness and excusing bad behavior, though.

In this case, Jesus chicken has always been anti lgbtq. Their long history would prevent me from forgiving them for that, but maybe if it was under new ownership or something.

I don’t care if they still fund it or not. When somebody shows you who they are, believe them the first time.

Search engines have been corrupted by SEO garbage and ads presented as legitimate search results. Calling an ad “sponsored” is disingenuous at best. Using LLMs instead of searching is a logical progression. Slightly related to that are the people that search and just read the LLM summary at the top.
I’ve heard from marketing people that they’re starting to publish blog spam to try and steer people’s LLM conversations, so I think even the current LLM usage will eventually be even worse than search is currently.
You know how some companies wait for a patent to almost run out before they come out with a slightly better version? Same concept with the car paint.
Orange is a very fast color, I think OP will be safe. If they were grey or black he’d have to worry, or maybe just add some racing stripes.

Aren’t those two separate issues?

Yup. They’re all rules, but if enough people stop following the rules the whole thing falls apart. In this case the real enforcement mechanism is impeachment and removal, but that obviously isn’t happening any time soon.

What exactly are people supposed to do to stop it? It turns out all the enforcement mechanisms we were taught about in school were nothing more than gentlemen’s agreements.

The big problem with wild mushrooms isn’t so much identification, but lookalike. Yes, those are basically the same thing, but it’s nuanced. If you’re in the United States, you won’t bother with a small white mushroom because it probably isn’t tasty, but also because it might be seriously poisonous.
In other parts of the world a small white mushroom could be a tasty species and not have a poisonous lookalike. Now imagine immigrating to the US from somewhere like that. You don’t know all the colorful mushrooms in OP’s pictures, but you recognize those small white ones from home.
That’s how a lot of wild mushroom poisonings happen, unfortunately.
I like their food and their service is top notch, so I’d be glad to see positive change from them.
