Probably not never - CXMT are trying to aggressively expand to fill the market now the major players have left, but it will still be a few years before prices really come down as a result.

I’ve converted a few people to Linux who have no interest in the technical side just because Windows is that bad a few hours installing an OS has become far preferable to continuing to use windows. Something like Mint or Bazzite works much the same from their perspective, just without all the bloat slowing them down.

Quite noticeable that you’re only posting about America’s internal problems while you talk about people on the ground.

Shoplifting can be both fun and profitable

There are a phenomenal number of options for free TTRPGs - this list has a bunch of stuff ranging from completely free to enough rules to run a game are free, and only covers fairly big systems, not the myriad of small releases across the internet. Once you learn the basic resolution mechanic of a couple of systems it’s generally very easy to pick up more.

As much as it doesn’t stop me using their products, Gigabyte documentation is truly horrendous - I got a motherboard that wasn’t working and had to email the manufacturer asking what the beep code meant. Turned out it needed a firmware update to support the CPU which they were very helpful in sorting out, but I really feel like beep codes should be listed in the manual.

Similarly COVID doesn’t just spread COVID, it weakens the immune system in ways that permanently make people more vulnerable to other illnesses and more likely to develop autoimmune disorders. Many endemic diseases like flu are still seeing higher rates of hospitalisation than before.

Driving
that’s too fast, too dangerous and utterly lawless: why do we tolerate this petro-masculinity?
Maybe if you used you political system as intended instead of just telling people they’ve got to vote they’d engage more.

You’d be surprised at how much things aerosolise when they hit a skyscraper at 500 mph.

When I was in uni a friend with benefits lured me back to her flat with promises of food when I was drunk and hungry, then dragged me straight to the bedroom despite me protesting I still was hungry. She had some furry handcuffs on the headboard so I handcuffed her to the bed, walked to the kitchen, made a sandwich, and then came back and sat on a chair right next to her while I ate it. The sandwich was mediocre, but the taste of victory was divine. She said I was “bad at BDSM”, but I’m pretty sure I got the bondage and sadism bits down fine.
I think you’re underestimating ebikes and scooters - they aren’t particularly convenient for short distances as you still have to find space for them at either end, but excel at medium distances that are currently done by car, so replace driving far more than they do walking. On top of that, balancing on them engages a lot of muscles, so while they’re not as healthy as walking or using a pedal bike, they provide infinitely more exercise than sitting in a car.
