Ah classic Riot games, investing all the money in anti-cheat while their launcher lacks basic functions like “download throttling”.
No idea how Steam keeps winning…
Because a few hundred people have to do it and not just one person once.
Well apparently people can always link the bluesky post or shitty ad infested news websites but never the original article/source. Which usually takes an additional 10s to find.
That’s why I call them incompetent.
vulnerabilities tested, don’t impact the PS5 in any way, does that mean technically Sony could get sued for not recontributing code back to the Linux projects?
No.
Let’s assume someone ships the Linux kernel in a device and the kernel has a vulnerability in some obscure subsystem (e.g. AFS) that is never used by the device. The device will not be affected by this vulnerability because the code can’t be reached.
Hmm yes “vulnerabilities”.
My personal highlight: https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/cve-2026-43073
Rename misleadingly named ‘__copy_user_nocache()’ function. This function was a masterclass in bad naming, for various historical reasons. It claimed to be a non-cached user copy. It is literally neither of those things.

Of course OP is too incompetent to post the link to the source, so here we go again:

Sounds like communism

Are these real vulnerabilities or are these “When Mars and Jupiter are aligned next to each other and you compile the kernel backwards X might crash” ones?
I think HN is one of the most rigged websites I encountered.
Some posts there look clearly botted regarding the score.
Not a single soul can tell me that it’s normal that the 345th “new AI model”-post get’s 1k upvotes within like 3 hours while articles like “I can steal Mastercard transactions” barely have 800 after an entire day.

Conflict of interest

Yeah but one could at least link the source where they found it…

Desoldering RAM off a production PCB is something no hobbyist is going to bother with
Ever heard of “repair” when no original spare parts are available?
Fun Fact: Doesn’t really work in Winter.
Source: EU countries that don’t have a ton of cheap gas, flowing water or nuclear power and unlimited storage.
