I guess I could look into that more, but cursory research gave me the impression that there aren’t good options for tablets here. But I guess since it’s useless anyway it would be worth it if I could just set it up as a server somehow, maybe I will keep looking.

I bought a new, $100 android tablet a few years ago because I’d never had a tablet before and thought I’d try it. Assumed that since laptops around that price perform ok that it would be decent for basic stuff, but it really isn’t. Just not enough ram (4gb), lags when doing literally anything, can’t load most websites, can’t even play most videos without it turning into a slideshow. Can’t install a less shit more efficient OS. I would feel bad about reselling it because no one should be subjected to having to use this ewaste.

It’s understandable to not want to disclose AI use if you’re facing harassment over it, but pushing a marketing narrative about the skill of the artist behind the game at the same time seems deceptive.

Even the low tier models have seen huge ongoing improvements, both much smarter and much faster, on the exact same consumer hardware. Great news for anyone who doesn’t want to see these big US corporations form an AI compute oligopoly.
