Is this a nail in the coffin moment for traditional media? Trump just launched a YouTube channel to replace them. Remember who was front row at the inauguration.

I’m wondering if he’s trying to make traditional media less relevant to have better control of the new media such as YouTube, TikTok etc. Also, the fact that his base is already siloed into Truth / Fox / Joe Rogan a makes it easier for the party to control the narrative.

I think that most people don’t want to tinker. They also hate choice paralysis. Buying the subscription or leasing the car is an easier decision than committing the money to own the thing.
