C:geo also has a lot of neat tools built in so it’s superior in every aspect. I have my state map downloaded on there, upload my hiking trail gpx, and download all the caches so I can cache with no cell reception

It’s an open source D*scord alternative. It looks very very similar, and I much prefer it.

With the official app, you’re limited to difficulty 2.5 and below. This is why I recommend using c:geo

Thanks, as a person who has never learned how to play chess, Lichess seems like a good start

I’m a premium member and I find it worth it because I hike a lot. But for people who don’t have expendable income, you can just install the open source geocaching app c:geo, you’ll get a lot more caches than the official app and it will give plenty to find. Additionally, you can email geocaching and they give you a week or 2 weeks of premium, with that time, you can download as many caches offline as you want.

And while you’re out geocaching, check out Street Complete

I’ve been using Fluxer and self hosting Fluxcord to sync my discord server with Fluxer, it’s going great.

Both arch and debian fresh out the box is minimal. Debian minimum requirement is 1160MB for Hard Disk, I’d imagine something similar for arch. From scratch, neither comes with bloat. You’re probably conflating debian with ubuntu or linux mint out the box.

No fun is allowed in your country I presume

I think not only is it justifiable, it is a necessity for archival purposes. If you can’t stream the show, they should be forced to release it for free or at the very least, release the copyright so other people can upload their archive.

I believe with Chevy evs at least there are guides to remove the modem/OnStar and even guides out there for Teslas
Who tf is using spaces

I recommend you check out the open source c:geo app. It’s by far the best geocaching app and unlocks more of the caches the official app doesn’t, it also indexes opencaching caches as well

Hiking with some geocaching is great

I looove to do Geocaching. You combine hiking with Geocaching and it’s a game changer

Homie, you are the fascist

I like to do rock climbing, hiking, and archery

Neither are lightweight. If you want lightweight then get debian
As someone who has gone through Windows group policy, the amount of weird policies and regedits we have to do to disable AI, recall, anayltics, etc. it’s insane and the process flip flops with tricky wording. Enabling something here and disabling stuff somewhere else, it gets annoying
