“Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines” would like to have a word.
I gotta be honest though. Neither of those names strike as particularly bad. JRPGs are way worse (not even mentioning mobile games).

IDK. VII was disappointing, but I hated VIII so much I still haven’t watched IX. But maybe picking a winner out of these is besides the point. Rogue One showed what a good, modern Star Wars film could look like, and in comparison with that, both VII and VIII are just terrible.

Funny, here in Germany, it’s FLACHKUCHENSCHACHTEL.
Totally, and then there’s a liquid nitrogen container preserving the single existing vial, which is so sensitive and fragile you have to pull it out of the container reeeeeal slow.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the sheer stupidity of this comic’s impression of what research is like? Middle-aged white guy wearing glasses and a lab coat in front of a computer screen looking at news (about generative (!) AI no less) and exclaiming what amounts to “Eureka”. And one panel later he has the fucking cure in a syringe right in his hand, ready to pop into somebody’s blood stream. The visual representation of what generative AI fanboys think research is versus what it actually is is a Venn diagram with no overlap.
As demonstrated by AlphaFold, which is neither an LLM nor generative AI. Coincidentally, I’ve never heard any actual complaints about what AlphaFold does for research, and the complaints seem to focus on LLMs and generative AI instead. Go figure.
I mean, Americans are a large and diverse group of people… But yes.
Sounds like a skill issue tbh
Why would you need a text editor when you can just do cat > file ?
smh
Back in the day, me and my siblings recorded movies on VHS by sitting next to the TV and starting/stopping the recording for commercial breaks. The best movies were those with only small snippets of commercials, and my most treasured movie was a nearly “clean” copy of Die Hard that I’ve watched probably somewhere between 50-100 times.
