I often think If I’m going to build a deck, I’d build it like a wooden boat. Maybe even soak it in salt water every week or so. It would have a slight dome shape and be sealed with caulk and marine sealant so water doesn’t sit on it or hang beneath the boards. Probably completely unrealistic, but one can dream.

I’ve been listening to this song quite a bit recently (sometimes three times a day). There is somewhat of a rhythm and beat of course, but it takes a back seat to the vocalists story. One I understand. I know for a fact there will never be ai “music” that makes me feel like ripping out someones throat and repeatedly smashing their head into the ground. Rarely does any song bring that out of me.

It’s not a technically impressive song (well maybe how soft the drums are) but the way the message is communicated is visceral and real and is something ai and it’s soulless supporters will never understand.
