You could be using a password manager and choose to make it a minimum character boring password or meet minimum complexity requirements or use the same password on a million sites. You have to secure your credentials; complying with the minimums of a service isn’t security.

That’s a poor assumption about what I meant; I believe the original framework was a charter that we should be educating our population; the baseline should be an assumption that every citizen has access to education, particularly after civil rights. I think you read my statement to mean “only the educated should vote”, but what I intended was “It’s a travesty that our society allowed education to lapse as a priority, due to conservative attacks, and the result is that snappy headlines and memes carry more weight than policy goals.”

Elections were supposed to be an education population making an educated decision on who should lead…it’s not that. It’s now a popularity contest, and it’s treated like a slightly more serious American Idol. Shit like this is farming popularity contest bullshit, not leadership ideas.
