Whenever I visit SF for work once a quarter it feels like there is a cult running the city. So many cringe ads telling you that meta glasses will let you be more in the moment and some XY product will make AI work for you without really telling you anything about the product. I think one point of the article is that progressive and leftist candidates have the odds stacked against them by the party itself. We see this repeating now for candidates like Angie Nixon. The silver lining is that leftist candidates are 10x better because they have to be in order to win.
