That’s definitely how it was when I started, but slowly I started getting up more around the time I used to when I still needed to drive to work, and now I get my daily exercises and language lessons done with time to spare to pack my wife a lunch and take a shower before clocking in. It helps that my wife and I like to go to bed at 9, though - if I felt compelled to stay up until midnight, I wouldn’t be so gung-ho to get up at 5, haha!

Your the exact reason they want people back in the office.

Instead of paying to commute in and paying for the gym in the evening you’re exercising for free before work and preventing your wife from buying lunch.

Please take a moment to think about Starbucks, fuel companies and gyms profits and reassess your life.

Getting up at 5 sounds like hell to me. Also, when working remote I’ll get up at the same time as when I go to the office.
