I interpreted “Tubers” as a play on YouTubers as well, and so the “Ninja” here is 100% Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, the Fortnite(?) streamer/YouTuber. Used to be the biggest, and now I haven’t heard anything about him in years, but he was the biggest for a while.
He got screwed pretty hard by MS. Signed an exclusivity deal to move to Mixer in 2019 and then Mixer got 86’d in 2020. He lost almost all of his viewership and has recovered a very very small portion since moving back to Twitch and Youtube.
