Maybe I misunderstood and the building is actually some nebulous “progressive movement,” rather than capitalism itself. In that case, sorry for misunderstanding, but it’s still a bad point IMO. Communists attacking social democracy as ineffective isn’t destroying the movement, it’s trying to push people towards more effective practice.
Are you sure? Capitalist infighting usually happens when each has dramatically different bases, such as slave labor in the southern US vs. Industrial labor in the northern US. We have to understand that the Civil War was in many ways driven by revolting slaves.
