DSP showed that no player input is needed to complete Wolverine’s first motorcycle section. Considering he’s the sort of guy this level of difficulty is made for, even he’s baffled that he didn’t need to do anything to clear the section.
The people who say the game is far too easy may have a point.
This isn’t even a question of hard or easy challenge. There’s is no challenge. You can literally put the controller down and the game completes that section all on its own.
I don’t see anything wrong with a game without a challenge.

I’m not sure I agree with your definition of a game, but I am certain I can’t work out the meaning of what you have written here.
But I would argue that if there is any interactive element, you can’t say it’s a movie either. Just because one section doesn’t require player input doesn’t mean the entire thing plays itself.

I play games. I watch visual entertainment. TTRPGs are games. A narrative game where I don’t get to do anything that impacts anything about anything in the game, to me, isn’t much of a game to me. It’s wait-for-player-to-interact visual entertainment—not much different than those games you got on DVDs for movies.
I think we have different opinions. As a kid, i loved watching friends play games on their handhelds or consoles or whatever and as an adult i still like it via YouTube
My favorite video game is when I take my toy wolverine and pretend in my head that hes blowing up shit and is always a badass and doesnt afraid of anything. There’s no challenge or anything, and it always ends the same no matter what happens, but I like it because its such a good video game.
See how that makes no sense—where is the game there? Its not a game. Its just make believe with no goals other than “experience the narrative” which is just a movie im afraid. Movies are great art mediums though so it doesn’t take away from any of the labor. It just isnt a video game, maybe it can win some movie awards or something with how good the story supposedly is
