Are you organizing for the primary, or are you preemptively giving up and handing power to Thiel’s buttboy?

It’s your party ShitLib. We don’t want anything to do with it.

If you do genuinely need votes from the left to win (you do, but your party’s leaders would literally rather die than admit it) then you’ve got 154 days left to get your party behind someone who isn’t beholden to AIPAC or Wall St, good luck with that.

So no? How’s refusing to exercise political power working out?

People like Mamdani and El-Sayed are possible when people actually get up off their ass.

Uh-huh. Keep watching those guys over the next few years, see what kind of political power you’ve been exercising.

People like Mamdani and El-Sayed are allowed to draw people from the left into the center-right party, but they will never be allowed to touch enough power to change anything fundamental, and the concessions they give to the working class can be clawed back easily enough.

But Mamdani actually made the lives of the poorest New Yorkers better without totally destroying the system. If politicians actually help people then we’ll never be able to overthrow the system.

          Can’t let that happen
