Gaming. I’m in my 30s and the 30s was the age bracket I’ve heard where few can carry on gaming through, because it has a tendency to die here. I piss away so much time doing other things that gaming just takes a backseat. I’m not even married or have kids.

I definitely game less than in my teens mostly due to reddit & lemmy, but I have a browser mod to disable social media sites and other timesinks (TVTropes lol) after 8pm, so I have several hours a day ringfenced for gaming :) (But I also got better at actually playing rather than spending hours preparing to play. I was an anxious teen 😅)
This is something I’m working on. I don’t get to game as much as I’d like to these days, both because of my life getting in the way but also because when I do have the free time I spend it doing parallel play with my spouse who doesn’t really have room to exist comfortably in the room where my gaming computer is. So I either get to spend time with her or play a real videogame.
Instead I’m trying to set up moonlight streaming on all my devices and truely dedicating my pc back to gaming. That way it can run in the office and I can play where I like. Then I don’t have to choose.
The only other thing I’m lacking is friends to play online with.
