The responses were basically heavily overlapping bell curves that only really show a sex difference in aggregate. Of the 120ish subjects they were able to complete, if even 10% end up gender non-conforming, you probably wouldnt have enough to make conclusions.
I would think they would have to do a huge study upon birth just to get a decent number of possible trans people to determine anything and then have to wait like 20 years to continue it. Getting funding for such a study might be a problem.
Hopefully one day we can face that question without needing a motivated answer. Right now I don’t think the world is ready or can be even a little normal about it
