    The Dutch segregate sports cyclists (wielrenners) from bicycle users (fietsers) for a reason. The appropriate way to do this is to take over one lane but these adrenaline pumped wielrenners only care about themselves and their racing performance.

      This is Florida. There is near zero actual bike infrastructure, little to no bike law, and absolutely no differentiation between sport and casual users. The peloton group up for safety as they approach a narrow causeway, anything else would result in more unsafe situations and up-close conflicts.
