I once made the faux pas of mentioning the blue eye thing to a couple who each had blue eyes shortly before they had their first child, a healthy, brown eyed boy.
I’m not sure if it’s really 100% or if it’s like colorblind women, but it’s not my business either way and I definitely shouldn’t have gotten myself involved.
Fuck yeah they do. Every other color is marching toward Blue Eyed extinction!
Because we’re recessive, every brown eyed/blue eyed couple is a step towards erasing our culture! (/s because this would 100% happen)

I was actually worried about this as a kid, after learning that blue + brown = brown, brown + brown = brown, but only blue + blue = blue.
