There was a $1776 promise for the 250th anniversary of the country’s founding. IIRC, there was a DOGE refund as well, but I don’t recall what he promised.
He already owes every American about $5,000, based on previous promises. Maybe if he makes good on those promises before the midterms, I’d say people would be justified in believing him about this promise, but if he wanted to, he would have.
He also promised a phone that was made in America. It’s made in China, and he’s nearly doubled the price. It’s still made in China. Also, the American flag on the back is missing two bars. So I guess in Trump’s America, there were only 11 colonies, rather than the 13 they teach in school. Has he ever said which two did not make the cut? I’m guessing liberal ones in the north. He’s not saying. Maybe he thinks you won’t notice. Maybe he didn’t notice. Wouldn’t that be wild? He thought it would be made in America, but it was made in China.
