I do politics around the right people. It feels less like politics and just checking in on each other. I thought that was supposed to be what it feels like… when it starts feeling like pleading for my life for someone else’s minor discomfort… that. Cuz fact is: she was apologetic and relinquished her prize shortly after the incident and the sponsor regretted their decision in it too. This was barely a story but someone needed to insinuate this girl had some deeper issues just to make it that more foreboding than it really is. She fucked up. Just like alot of people do every day. Then she apologized. just like anyone else does everyday when they fuck up. nothing more. No one got hurt thankfully. A valuable lesson was learned. Could it have gone better? sure. but we cant change the past. so we really could all move on and could very well find far better stories than this to be outraged by.

This was all pretty easy to look up btw. but that is no fun for these little trolls to look up the real facts of a story cuz they all want to pitchfork the shit out of the real news.

I see so if your parents get scammed for every last penny leaving you no inheritance because they were too embarrassed and felt a bottomless pit of shame and humiliation to come forward about scam artists because no one can be vulnerable around you because you blame them for any misfortune. Veganism.

Their entire basis of preaching guilt over the consiousness angle was egotistic, overzealous and unproven.(either all plant matter and all animal matter are consious or they are all not. Therefore everyone, no matter what matter they consume to survive, remains guilty of ending a consiousness or not and therefore neither diet maintains the higher ethical ground to guilt from. I will not be convinced otherwise. And especially not while every white paper starts with defining consiousness is always in their own pure hubris)

It was not until it was called ‘Plant based’ that i got on board as that research is proven. yes: it is healthier, yes: less emmissions. yes: uses less matter to consume. yes: more sustainable. (Although not sustainable for those who remain unable to digest beans as a form of protien. but that is another story)

Ethical? in the form of ‘less matter’ one might try to argue but i would not use any guilt angle on ethical stance so long as any matter that may be argued to contain consiousness is consumed. No ethical stance starts with measuring anything in value as ‘less than’ another so long as it is used just to justify to find their own comfort to judge others from.
