I doubt it but I hope so. And I think it’s also crucial that these Christians don’t push the party to embrace forcing everyone to follow their rules.

At the same time it can be effective to say “hey this is working out over there”. That’s why I as an American care about Dutch traffic design. And from there bike lanes in Seattle are a way to say “hey, it’s not something that only works in the Netherlands and Denmark, it also works in a hilly American city”.

I totally get why most wouldn’t care about bike lanes across the world, but I figured I’d point out why I care about such things.

Capitalist ideology sees class as unavoidable and so it strives to make it meritocratic and unstable. This was a radical idea in an era of nobility or castes, but ultimately resulted in the merchant class basically seizing control of society.

Communism strives to eliminate it entirely, but you wind up with some leaders being insincere or incapable of letting go of power. But you also have the fact that it’s difficult to completely eliminate class.
