Only way I’d let my kid attend church in general is if they went to multiple religions so they could understand what other people believe and be informed.

My best friend and I became friends in 3rd grade and we’re 37 now. She was my neighbor actually when we were born but her family moved before either of us have memories of it.

I also have another friend, the type you don’t talk to much but, if you needed something, they’d show up to hide a body. We were neighbors so we’ve been friends since he was born. So about 36 years. We text once every 6 months to a year. We meet up randomly usually involving one or both sets of family members. But I know I’d be there for him if he needed me and same the other way.

That’s the way to do it

You know how I gamble? Once every 5-10 years I’ll put $100 in a slot machine. I play until I’m broke or at $500. Then I walk away.

I once sanded and (poorly) refinished a nightstand. In my defense, it was my first time and I don’t think it was stain grade wood. It was always meant to be painted. That’s as far as my skills go. Although, where I moved, inherited quite a few very nice wood working tools so, I might be learning once some of the house maintenance is under control!
