maybe you could join and contribute non-slop

edit: not checking the replies for my sanity but i see the downvotes and like. you know content doesn’t just magically appear. right. like real actual human beings have to make an account and upload content for there to be human content. that’s how social media works. making a platform does not automatically mean it comes with content. shocking, i know.

just from skimming i saw maybe two usernames. would be cool if they didn’t post slop but if they did reposts y’all would probably complain about that too (although i saw what could’ve been reposts maybe) and if they posted original content that wasn’t interesting enough you’d probably also complain

if you know how to code then idk. contribute to something like peertube or make your own thing.

or you could just keep funding the slop corporation spying on you and sending your money to child-bombing pedos and your watch history to palantir. it’s fine we all have our preferences. i just assumed people on the fediverse might have values more aligned with not that.
