Shockingly many of them have made public statements saying they believe this technology will destroy humanity… so using their own testimony, I suppose?

The last thing I wanna see is Call of Duty: Spartan Ops or whatever the fuck, but let’s not pretend that 343/Halo Studios are any better. Their stewardship of the Halo franchise has been an unmitigated disaster from the start.

“We’re sorry and we’re listening” has basically been Bungie’s motto for the entire post-Halo era.

Not saying they can’t pull off a comeback, but Jesus Christ… this is like the sixth or seventh time they’ve had to make an announcement like this. Somebody break the fucking cycle already…

ETA: I’ll be curious to see if they shoot themselves in the dick again by charging players to regain access to the vaulted content.

This is inevitably what happens when you create a “leadership” class that doesn’t do actual work and has no idea how the actual work is done.

I think the point is more about forcing this back into the news cycle right before the midterms.
