Can I get a smug lecture on how you’re choosing the third, disconnected track?

The problem is if someone is willing to support genocide, it’s not actually possible to perform a fair “lesser of two evils” analysis. There’s literally nothing worse than genocide. If you’re willing to support that for power, there’s nothing you won’t support, no promise you won’t go back on, no group of constituents you won’t betray. How many trans people voted for AIPAC democrats on the “lesser of two evils” approach, just to watch those same assholes turn around and start talking about “keeping men out of women’s sports” the moment it became politically popular?

In order to judge the lesser evil, you need to actually be able to judge the beliefs of a candidate. But these people don’t actually believe in anything. They don’t really support anything. They’re just chasing polls and donor dollars to win power. You can’t perform a lesser of evils analysis against a shapeshifter.

There’s literally nothing worse than genocide.

So why are you okay with it happening rather than trying to actually lessen it?
