I think prions (the beef one) are not alive. They are just protein folds that lead to incurable diseases. Never eating beef again :D

But you should look it up, they’re actually so deadly and linger in the soil after animals that have it die. It might cause a worse COVID in terms of total deaths but also lead to widespread veganism through natural selection XD
