It’s been reported that in the German elections, a far right party has made ‘significant gains’.

In the UK (at least before the scandals) Reform UK seems to have had a significant boost and has even surpassed the right-wing Conservative Party in some polls/predictions.

Even France, one or two years ago, was threatened with a far-right government due to the French far right party gaining a lot of support.

It feels like in the last few years, the far-right has exceeded itself and had a surge in popularity. Is this the case? And if so, wtf is fuelling it?

          I don’t agree with this. He asked for a definition of a term. I spoke in words he didn’t understand and he asked for a definition. My answer would have been more flawed and incomplete and frankly I was interested in exploring the topic and had not the time.

            You added nothing more in value beyond that prompt. It’s no different than instead of using an LLM to expand a bullet list into a long multi-paragraph email, you should just email the damn bullet points and save everyone the time.

              It was the definition of a term. I intended to add nothing beyond that. I was boarding a flight. The prompt was “Succinctly describe instituonal capture as it relates to ascendancy of right wing governments”.

              Honestly, your post and your suggestions are really rude and I wouldn’t ever talk that way.
