When the ads and sponsorships came to Youtube, that was the beginning of the end. It’s funny how lately there have been very old videos that pop up from time to time selected by the algorithm that show how far it’s fallen from the simple "You"tube days where you just made content and let that determine the success.
And along with it came the YT voice, The thumbnail formula (big head with curious face, chunky typeface, and an action background), and keyword loaded titles.
So much boring uniform ‘content’. That word is becoming a capitalist chore.
I know better help had some issues but (other than AI use) is there anything wrong with ground news?
I guess it’s fine if you wanna pay money for someone else’s bias.
All news has bias. But it’s worth funding news that isn’t the big few.
Never read Ground News, but fund your local reporter.
Ground News isn’t local. It’s an aggregator that tells the user which news sources have left or right-facing bias. Which simply aligns the user with the bias of the one’s who created it.
Oh. That’s less fun then :-/
