In 2036, the choice will be between a red candidate who wants to kill all trans people, and a blue candidate who wants to jail all trans people, and OP will argue earnestly in favor of the latter

Well that’s a fuckin delusional take. Vote in the fuckin primaries, vote in every election for the most progressive option and guess what? We’d have a pro trans party. We literally all watched progressives fuckin sweep recently and all you bitch-asses still just immediately capitulating all agency to the big bad dem establishment like you couldn’t fuckin primary them out if you’d just take some goddamn responsibility and vote in your actual best interests for fuckin once but no, be an edgy fuck online.

Who is at fault here? When Dem politicans promote anti-trans rhetoric, why is it trans people’s fault for believing them? I think the blame should pointed at the politicians needlessly throwing away voters instead of the voters being scapegoated.

Establishment Dems have already floated the idea of running anti-abortion candidates. Will you blame pro-choice advocates when those candidates lose?

You’re absolutely right, democrats are entirely responsible for everything republicans do.

If they advocated for letting a worse candidate (a republican) win in a general election, YES.

The sports thing is such pointless drama. Sports are segregated by sex, nobody is entitled to play them, and they should probably be banned in high school and college anyway.
